Located in our picturesque modern offices in Mirfield within walking distance of Mirfield train station we require a dynamic self-motivated account manager for our German recycling market clients.

We already carry out collections of raw material from a number of recycling companies in Germany and we now require a fluent German speaking account manager to further promote our business into the German market place. This will also involve company expensed travel to Germany with the company directors to formalise arrangements for the collection of material for recycling.

• IT literature and with an excellent telephone manor
• Fluent in English and German both spoken and written
• Self-motivated and used to making cold calls into businesses as well as selling into existing customers
• Capable of producing quotations along with the formation and submission of tender documents were required
• Have strong customer service skills
• Total management of your account from initial marketing and promotion through to on-going day to day management including updating of the companies web sites and marketing translated into German
• Be able to travel to Germany to attend meetings and translation
• Carry out presentations to customers often to board level in German
• Training on the companies market place and recycling solutions will be provided
• 07.30am – 04.30pm Monday – Friday UK time (Working hours will be European hours of opening + 1 Hour GMT)

• Sorting in bound products into categories ready for the test and repair engineers
• Cleaning, washing preparing for sale and documenting tested finished electrical products
• Packing products ready for despatch
• These positions are warehouse based and therefore you must be used to or be prepared to work in that type of environment which will include wearing PPE – jackets, visors, gloves and safety boots (the company will provide)
• We will consider applications for part time student hours, job share, part time, flexible working hours, school friendly hours as well as full time
• Be able to demonstrate and work with administration systems for booking in, documenting test procedures and completed test paperwork which are form and IT based
• Capable of working under pressure and to production targets

• You will either have worked for an electrical retailer, computer reseller, repair agent or manufacturer testing and repairing electrical equipment and have relevant experience on repairing specific ranges of electrical equipment in your specific field of expertise. For certain vacancies we may consider applications from self-taught test and repair engineers.
• We require test and repair engineers for:
  • Computers – Installation, configuration and testing of hardware and software on PC and Apple formats along with peripherals
  • Dyson vacuum cleaners – Self-taught knowledge or through a retailer / repair agent
  • Televisions – CRT based and flat screen technologies testing and repairing to board level
  • General Information Technology – Phones, portable satellite navigation systems, MP3 players, games consoles and other "gadgets", you will have a strong understanding of the technologies in this market place for testing and configuration (repair experience would be advantageous)
• Have a good understanding of health and safety and used to handling safely faulty electrical equipment for repair
• Be able to demonstrate and work with administration systems for booking in, documenting test procedures and completed test paperwork
• Experience of operating a portable appliance tester (PAT tester) would be advantageous
• Capable of working under pressure and to repair/production targets
• Monday to Friday 08.00am – 05.00pm (Saturday work maybe required at peak times)

• Working to a rotation system on Saturday's (8am-1pm)

• IT literature with in depth knowledge of Sage accounts, payroll and Excel
• To carry out bank, purchase ledger, business plan and material in/out reconciliations
• Produce cash flow forecasts, management reports on a weekly and monthly basis
• Assist with financial presentations to banks, customers and suppliers
• To be actively involved "hands on" with financial projections, targets and production from our recycling facilities
• Excellent communications skills to liaise with customers and suppliers
• Experience of multi-currency transactions and accountancy in European countries would also be advantageous
• Payroll experience - operation and legislation
• Capable of creating, building and maintaining a financial department
